Located just 12 miles from downtown Orlando, Loews Royal Pacific Resort is an ideal home base for your theme park vacation. Its proximity to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Theme Park makes it an excellent choice for your Central Florida vacation.

From the time you walk across the bridge into the resort from the parking area, you’ll feel magically transported to the world of the South Pacific. Stunning authentic woodwork beams and carvings lead you to an expansive atrium in the center of the lobby. Here fountains and lush vegetation greet you and beckon you to walk in and spend some time relaxing on a bench with a cool drink in hand. The main lobby area offers ample seating near the Orchid Court Lounge and nearby Sushi Bar. It’s a beautiful spot to unwind, have a light meal and cocktail, relax and do some people-watching.

Each of the stunning 1,000 guest rooms on-site offers lovely tropical decor and abundant amenities. Guest rooms feature over 300 square feet of living space, and guests can choose a Garden or Water View room, with your choice of a king or two queen beds.

Lowes Royal Pacific Resort also offers several suites for larger groups or guests wishing to spread out. Ideal for a family reunion or celebration, these suites can include connecting rooms and range from over 600 to a little over 2000 square feet.

There’s something for everyone, from sit-down dinners to poolside bars, a buffet, and a dinner show. Jakes American Bar offers ample seating, a standard bar, and to-go meals at Jakes on the Fly, which allows you to order food ahead of time and grab lunch or dinner to go. Directly across from Jakes is The Islands Dining Room, where you’ll find flavorful options like beef satay, shrimp pad thai, and crab rangoon. The resort also serves breakfast here. The Mariners Club is a kids camp that will keep kids entertained and happy while parents enjoy a night on the town.

Bula Bar and Grill serves quick snacks and lunch items. Order up some tropical fresh fruit, or nachos, quesadillas, or a burger or wraps poolside, making for an ideal way to spend some downtime between theme park days. The signature dinner show and the all-you-can-eat buffet at Loews Royal Pacific Resort is a must-do. You do not have to be a guest of the hotel to experience the Wantilan Luau Dinner Show.  The Polynesian buffet offers delicious food and unlimited mai tai cocktails. This event features interpretive dancing, live music, and an interactive luau experience. Guests also get to take home a souvenir tiki cup.

Held on Saturday nights, the luau offers regular and priority seating at two separate ticket tier prices (both include complimentary parking). Some of the buffet food options include ahi tuna salad, toasted coconut jasmine rice, Hawaiian teriyaki chicken, and a pit-roasted suckling pig with various toppings. Guests with allergies won’t have to worry as each food is labelled with potential allergens. Kid-friendly buffet offerings include chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. Included beverages consist of fruit punch, lemonade and tea, and of course, the unlimited Mai Tais.

The 2.5-hour event typically begins with a pre-show at 5:30 with interactive hula lessons. The buffet is open from 6 p.m. – 7:30. Live music, fire dancers, and hula interpretations run for an hour, beginning at 7 p.m.
