One of my favourite travel companions is essential oils. I find they help make air travel a little more comfortable, fight off travel fatigue like nothing else, and offer up the energy and confidence needed to venture out to new places. Are you like me and are forever searching for essential oil recipes to create special blends? If you are then keep reading!

Essential oils have a wealth of wellness benefits, and with the right combination on hand, you’ll be ready for the unexpected. Essential oils can elevate your entire vacation experience, and I believe they make for a fantastic add-on to your carry-on bag.

The easiest way to create blends for travelling is by using a roller bottle. Simple and easy to do, add 10-20 drops of essential oils to a 10ml roller bottle and then fill the rest of the bottle with your preferred carrier oil. Shake well and apply to the skin. It is that simple.

Pro Travel Tips: When flying with your natural aromatherapy blends, only pack what you think you might need on the plane because it needs to fit inside your 3-1-1 bag. This rule applies whether you are travelling with droppers, rollers or diffusers. The rest of your essential oil travel kit can go into your checked baggage.
